William H. "Bill" Labor

William H. “Bill” Labor, 93, of North Norwich, passed at his residence on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. 

Born on April 26, 1931, in Johnson City, NY, Bill spent his childhood in the Oxford area. He served honorably in the United States Navy from 1951-1955. Bill worked for most of his life in the warehouse of Victory Markets in Norwich. He enjoyed golfing and bowling. 

In 1954, in North Norwich, Bill married his beloved wife, Jessie Whaley, who predeceased him on February 26, 2019. 

Bill is survived by his sons, Scott Labor, Kevin Labor, and Steve Labor; daughter, Laurie Hoefler and her husband, John; grandchildren, Vaughn Labor and Dr. John Hoefler; and two great grandchildren. 

A graveside service for Bill will be held in the spring at North Norwich Cemetery.
