William Daly

William "Bill" Daly, Jr., 69, of Norwich, passed away unexpectedly in Atlantic City, NJ, on his birthday, July 9, 2021.

Born on July 9, 1952, in Yonkers, NY, Bill was the son of the late William and Monica (English) Daly, Sr. He worked in hospital finance departments in Southern California and in Texas before moving to Norwich, where he worked for Chenango Memorial Hospital. He later became a bartender the Norwich VFW Post 2782 until his retirement in 2018. A diehard Yankees fan, Bill loved to travel to New York to watch games. He is survived by many close friends.

Friends of Bill are hosting a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 1:00 pm – 5:00pm at the Norwich VFW, 61 East Main St., Norwich, NY 13815. Funds raised including the door cost, 50/50, raffles, and meals are being used help offset the cost of his untimely passing and burial.
