Teresa Brunza

Teresa A. Brunza, 55, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016 having joined her brother, Charles A. Muserilli. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Teresa is survived by daughter, Lauren Brunza; parents Angelo and Hazel (Hafele) Muserilli, of Norwich, NY; and siblings Kathleen Perkins and her husband, Max, Christine Muserilli, and Thomas Muserilli. Also surviving are several loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Teresa graduated from Cazenovia College in 1985 with a degree in interior design and then went on to Sage College to became a licensed massage therapist. For 14 years, she worked for Dr. Todd Rehm at Rehm Chiropractics in Lake George, NY. Teresa was a gifted person and an exceptional artist who loved to draw, paint, and immerse herself in nature. She touched the lives of so many, and was a true healer with the most beautiful spirit and soul. Her family was blessed to have her as a daughter, sister, mother, as were her friends.

A Celebration of Life benefit will be held to help offset funeral and medical expenses. Please consider attending and donating. The benefit will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2016, at Pizza Jerks in Lake George, NY. Contributions will be accepted by Teresa's sister, Kathleen Perkins, 346 County Road 20, Smyrna, NY 13464.

Prior to the Celebration of Life, friends are invited to call at Wilson Funeral Home, located in Teresa’s birthplace of Norwich, NY, on Saturday, May 28, 2016, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Amanda House in Glens Falls, NY, where Teresa's family stayed during their time of loss. The family will be making a donation to the Amanda House Community Project for their hospitality and generosity.
