Steven Christopher “Steve” Biviano, 62, died in a car accident after being struck on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

Born on July 7, 1962, in Norwich, Steve was a son of John J. “Buzzy” and Theresa (Caezza) Biviano. He graduated from Norwich High School and then earned a degree from SUNY Morrisville. Steve worked for Simmonds-Precision before a long career at Amphenol Aerospace in Sidney, NY where he worked as a computer-aided design drafter.

Steve had a passion for collection toy trains, something he did with since he was a child with his father. Steve had a hobby of purchasing old broken-down cars from local junk yards and working on the cars until they could be back on the road again. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and playing/walking with Sadie, his mother’s beloved golden retriever. Steve was a devoted member of St. Bartholomew’s Church, taking his mother to Mass weekly and for holidays. He was a dedicated son and caregiver to his mother and family.

Steve is survived by his mother, Theresa C. Biviano, of Norwich; sister, Theresa Marie (David) Brown, of Ruckersville, VA; brother, Jeffrey Biviano, of Dayton, OH; nieces and nephews, Melissa (Tony) Nowicki and Matthew J. (Sarah) Brown; great nieces and nephews, Kamden Nowicki, Emerson Nowicki, Bryanna Nowicki, Jackson Brown, and Evan Brown; cousins, Joseph Caezza, Dianne (Jaś) Lotycewski, James (Bobbie) Caezza, Mary Alice (Marialana) Caezza, John (Dianne) Caezza, Kathy (Dora) Caezza, and Mary (Jon) Christine; and Sadie, who shared a special bond with Steve.

Steve was predeceased by his father, John, in 1979 and his brother, Michael, in 2005.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Steve will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the Church of St. Bartholomew, where the Rev. Ralph A. Bove, pastor, will officiate. Friends are invited to call at the Wilson Funeral Home on Monday, April 21, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. prior to the calling hours. Burial will occur at St. Paul’s Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in memory of Steve may be made to St. Bartholomew’s Church, 30 Pleasant Street, Norwich, NY 13815.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Wilson Funeral Home.
