Patricia P. Clarkson

Patricia P. Clarkson, 81, of Norwich, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at the Norwich Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Born on May 5, 1941, in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Jessie (D’Allesandro) Perugino. A graduate of Bloomfield High School, she attended Montclair State University while embarking on a career that included management positions at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, NJ, and Community Health Plan, Poughkeepsie, NY. While working in Poughkeepsie, Patricia met her future husband, Roger Clarkson.

In 2002, a career change brought Patricia and Roger to Norwich. While in Norwich, she became an active member at the Assembly of God Church. Patricia also was a member and volunteer for the Chenango Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. In her retirement, Patricia and Roger traveled extensively to Italy and several other countries in Europe.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Roger, as well as her former husband Ian Davies and their children, Mark Davies, of Bloomfield, NJ, Glen (Shari) Davies, of Fishers, IN, and Kimberly (Richard) Maykish, of Clinton, NY; grandchildren, Kara Davies, Elizabeth Davies, Colin (Leah) Maykish, Alyssa (Josh) Young, and Tyler Maykish; great-grandchildren, Ellie Young and Carson Young; and brother, Edmund (Heather) Perugino.

To honor Patricia’s wishes, there will be no formal services. Contributions in her memory may be made to Chenango Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, 179 North Broad Street, Norwich, NY 13815.
