Leanna A. Rothwell, 19, of Pharsalia, passed away following a seizure on Monday, April 15, 2024. With a heart full of love, a spirit that shined as bright as the sun, and kindness that touched countless lives, she left an indelible mark on our world.
Born on January 9, 2005, Leanna was the first daughter of Raina Whitney and Shad Rothwell. She was a student at Otselic Valley Schools.
With a fierce determination, she fought a brave battle against her seizure disorder for 18 years, inspiring us all with her resilience and courage. She had a good sense of humor and tried to make all the people around her laugh and feel happy. Her love for music, art, and life was contagious, and she shared it with everyone she met. She had a gift for all animals no matter big or small, Leanna became their friend.
As a daughter, sister, friend, and advocate for people with disabilities, she was a beacon of hope and compassion. Her embrace was warm, her hugs were tight, and her love was unconditional. She had a gift for bringing people together, making people laugh and her presence made our lives richer in all ways.
Though her time with us was far too short, her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched, the memories we cherish, and the love we shared. Let us honor her memory by continuing her work, spreading kindness, and shining our lights for all to see.
