Kathleen A. Fox

Kathleen Ann Fox, the youngest daughter of Edwin and Evelyn (Matterson) Hazard, passed away at her residence.

Kathy grew up in South Edmeston and had fond memories of her years there. She graduated from New Berlin High School, then attended the Charles School of Beauty. Shortly afterwards, she was married to Gerald D’Aust and had two daughters, Laura and Brenda, who survive her. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Jeremy, Melanie, Joshua, Alyson and Jacoby; three sisters: Juan (Carmine) Covais, Susan Whitman, and June Weinheimer and several other family members including aunts, Norma and Marion; Uncle Frederick Matteson; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, several aunts, uncles and cousins, Terry, Cindy and Gerry and her beloved cat, Little Nell.

Kathy liked cooking, crafts, old time Rock ’n Roll and shopping.

A graveside service will be held at a later date and at the convenience of the family at Fairview Cemetery in New Berlin, NY. There will be no calling hours.
