Jason W. Butler, 48, of Jacksonville FL, died on February 12, 2023 at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL.
Born on November 9, 1974, in Colorado Springs, CO, Jason was the son of Mark Butler and Donna Lull. He grew up in Colorado Springs, CO, Germany, Fly Creek, NY, and South Bend, IN. After graduating from Reiley High School in South Bend, IN, he relocated to Jacksonville, FL and became a carpenter, something he excelled at. Jason did many odd jobs as an independent contractor and was considered a master in his field. He loved Jacksonville, Fl and spent his leisure time on the beach and fishing. Jason was close to his Jacksonville family and friends. They will miss him.
Jason is survived by his mother, Donna Sims, of West Laurens, NY; sister, Renee (Dustin) Byrne, of Norwich; nephews, Robert and Cameron Byrne, of Norwich; his grandmother; Patricia Lull, of Laurens, NY, several aunts and uncles including Karen (Donald) Losee, Marcia Kramer, John & Betty Butler, Rita & Richard Butler/Hann, Lisa Butler Ellsworth; many cousins including his special cousin, Brenda Lavieri; and many friends. He was predeceased by his father, Mark Butler; grandparents, Robert Lull, Donald “Jim” and Helen Butler; and aunts and uncles.
There will be no formal services. Jason’s last legacy was him becoming an organ donor and extending the lives of others.
