Ida E. Politano

Ida E. Politano, 88, of Norwich, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at Chenango Memorial Hospital.

Born on June 17, 1931, in Brooklyn, NY, Ida was the daughter of Joseph and Maria Rosaria Longo Politano. She and her sister, Mary Politano, who survives, resided with each other all their lives, and relocated with each other to Norwich during the 2000’s. She is also survived by her brothers, Carmine and Louis Politano, and her many beloved nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Ida will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 3, 2020, at the Church of St. Bartholomew, where the Rev. Ralph A. Bove, pastor, will officiate. Burial will take place the following week at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, in Totowa, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
