Dale A. "Dee" Rifanburg

Dale A. “Dee” Rifanburg, 73, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022 in the ICU at Chenango Memorial Hospital.

Dee was born on January 10, 1949, in Schenectady, NY, and the daughter of Clinton and Helen (Breslin) Rifanburg. She spent 73 years in Oneonta, New Berlin, and the Norwich area. Dee worked at the Norwich Shoe Co. for 18 years, 27 years at Country Stores, in Oneonta, and several odd jobs as well.

Dee is survived by two sisters, Virginia Rifanburg and Cynthia Rifanburg, each of Norwich; sister-in-law, Lorraine Rifanburg, of Edmeston; and brothers, Doug, Don, Dennis, Dwayne, and Jim Rifanburg, Robin Nasr, Norman “Skip” Breslin, Joe Wahl; good friend, Steve Shults; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dee was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Gordon “Donny” Rifanburg and Jack Rifanburg; and sister, Sharon Rifanburg.

Dee loved to go to Turning Stone Casino, play bingo, and play cards.

Friends are invited to call at the Wilson Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Butternut Valley Cemetery, in Gilbertsville.
