Condolences

Condolence From: James Simcoe
Condolence: I am stunned and saddened to read of Linda's passing. I was out of town for a few days and learned after I returned. She was such a nice person and a great neighbor. She did a picture frame for me a few years ago, was very talented.

I am so sorry. I hope she has found peace.

Condolence: I have never met Linda. SHe wounds like a wonderful person who led a full and blessed life. My condolences to her and her 2 beautiful daughters. I would be remiss however in not extending condolences also to former husband, Dr. Paul Orioli, the father of their 2 daughters, and his role in their lives also as well as sharing their lives together for several years.

Condolence: Katie and Kristi, We are so so sad to hear of the news of your mom. Linda was a joy to know and talk to, and always spoke of how proud she was of you girls. As we were unable to attend any of the services, we just wanted you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: Linda and I went to Cortland HS together. I remember how smart she was in all the classes we took together. I would study, study, study and hopefully I got an 85 or above. Linda would easily get in the 90's without even breaking a sweat. Some of my best memories were when we were cheerleaders together. She knew how much I wanted to be a cheerleader and she taught me a cheer that I used in tryouts. Because of her, I made the team. One of my favorite pictures, is during a football game. All the girls are lined up, arms wrapped around each other, and our right leg is kicking high up in the air. Right in the middle is Linda, with her smile as big as ever.

No words can take away the pain of your loss but I hope sharing our memories bring a small smile to your hearts. Please know that Linda was loved, touched so many people during her short time with us, and will be forever missed.

Love, Terri

Condolence: My deepest sympathies to your family and friends. We had some great times together as we both dealt with separating/divorcing our hubbies around the same time. You always comforted me and kept me laughing through all the ups, downs and tears. I will always treasure your friendship, smile and great sense of humor. Rest in Peace.

Condolence From: Donna Goss
Condolence: Linda and I graduated from CHS and were in a number of classes together. Although we lost touch over the years, I remember her always being upbeat with a smile on her face. My sympathy to her friends, family and all who will be missing her but keeping her in our hearts.

Condolence From: Wendy (Hopewell) Mauch
Condolence: Linda was a very close friend all through high school and after, we lost touch, then recently reconnected and it was like no time had passed, although it had been 25 years since we last saw each other.

Linda was always the friend to go to, when you needed a shoulder to cry on, or advice to be given, or fun to be had. :) She has a beautiful soul and the best smile that always made you feel welcomed and important to her.

We did too many shenanigans to mention, all just to have fun and be adventurous.

I feel blessed to have reconnected with her and Kristi and Katie, although I never met you girls, her eyes sparkled when she told me all about you and how proud she was of the women that you have become. YOU ladies, brought the biggest smile ever to her face.

To her girls and her family, I am so sorry for your loss, she passed way too soon, and she will be missed but hopefully the memories of the laughter she shared stay with you and somehow comfort you during this difficult time. Hugs Wendy

Condolence: Unfortunately my memories of Linda were mostly from my CHS days, since I joined the military a couple of years after high school. Linda was always kind with a smile that could light up a dark-room. She had a wonderful personality and those beautiful eyes captured my attention more than once.

Linda sat behind me in a few classes. In all honesty, we were reprimanded more than once for our chats during class. Mr. Hoyer, our history teacher, asked me if I realized he was in front of the class, presumably because I was always turned around talking to Linda. Yes, I knew he was in front, but no I really didn't want to turn back around.

I will miss Linda not because I had seen her recently but because the world was a better place with her in it. She will be greatly missed by those that had the pleasure of knowing her. I am very sorry for your loss.

Condolence: I knew Linda through HSEAD and during that short time I found her to be very warm and special. I will miss that friendship opportunity. I hope and pray that her daughters and immediate family members have a strong support system to lean on at this very sad time.
