The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Esther Gardner can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Bonnie and Family, I am so sorry to hear of your moms passing. I have a lot of great memories being at your house when we were growing up. To this day I still cut up my apples and put cinnamon on them for a treat, something your mom did for us often. Gone but not forgotten.

Condolence: Gone but never forgotten. Ray was out trying to make a buck shoveling. When he came home he said "that lady is ice but she sure does talk a lot. that was the beginning of a long friendship. My family adopted your family.. I remember Saturday morning breakfast at the Blue Bird then our excursions to anywhere and everywhere. "Fishing" when we'd build a bonfire to eat hotdogs. Going to watch the boys play Legion Baseball, tossing together food for a cookout together. laughing so hard it hurt. kitting sweaters for everyone. Giving away more than you sold. our cookout/target shooting...the way you pulled that rifle up and shooting witout aiming. You're one of the best people ever to walk this earth. I hope you loved us half as much as much we love you. Hope you're doing the same in heaven. RIP my frend!!!

Condolence: Bonnie and Family, Esther had a smile that filled her face and warmed your heart. I have many memories of her with my parents and our Grove Avenue and Maydole Street friends when I was growing up. She will be fondly remembered and a part of treasured times in my life. Have faith that she is among friends until forever brings you all back together.

Condolence: Bonnie and Family,
We have wonderful memories of the time spent with your Mom. She made beautiful knitted items for all our kids as they grew up. In the last years we had a nice time with her at Bingo. We hope your happy memories will comfort you.

Condolence: I have so many fond memories of Midge and all her stories and antics. I also still have the sweater and had she made for my youngest son. She was so generous and did a great job raising her wonderful daughter. My kids still talk about Grandma Gardner and the fun they had at her house. My deepest sympathies for your loss.
