The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Carmela Garito can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Childhood trips to Norwich to visit Nonni always included a stop to see Aunt Molly and Uncle Bart. The memories I have of these visits and of family gatherings are brought to mind today. May your own memories sustain you, cousins. We will miss you, Aunt Molly. Love, Susan.

Condolence From: MaryKay Taranto-Derby
Condolence: We are so very sorry for your loss. We will always have wonderful, fond memories of our families throughout the years at picnics, graduations, clam bakes and also remember how each helped the other with home projects, borrowing tools, etc. I personally miss the delicious baking goodies especially at the holidays! The Garitos, Portelli's, Rotunda's and Taranto's were truly best friends and were always there for each other. It's so hard to lose a loved one, but now that most of them have gone to heaven; that's gotta be one heck of a golf team!

With sincerest sympathy and Love,
The Taranto Family

Condolence: I am so very sorry for your loss. Our moms are our greatest inspiration in life, with a love like Christ, that is never ending ! And though there are no words to take away the pain or sadness of letting our dearest loved ones go, we can rest assure that they are now with our Lord and Savior in Heaven with their loved ones and suffer no more. I pray that the good Lord will bring your family peace and comfort at this most difficult time. Love you all so very much, though we may not see each other often or say it quite enough.
