I wanted to let you know I am so sorry to hear about Bill’s passing. He was class mate of mine and we graduated from Norwich High School together. It is always tough to hear that someone as young as we are to pass. I had seen him with his nieces and nephews at the bowling alley one time and you could tell how much he loved them. I ask and pray that the Lord Jesus Christ is with you and your family through this tough time. God Bless Deb (Franklin) Myers.

    He Only Takes The Best
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around you and whispered “come to me.”
With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

Bill wasn’t just a friend, he was like a third brother to me. We fought, laughed, and defended each other like brothers. I can’t imagine what my life would have been without his friendship. He will be missd by many. My deepest conolences to the entire Schraft family.

The Middle School is lacking a lot of laughter today without “Wild Bill”. What great times we had at athletic events, laughing and poking fun at one another. He definitely took care of all the staff, coaches and kids. He was a great friend and certainly brought a lot of laughter to a lot of us. I am so sorry for your loss.

    To the Schraft Family:
Please accept my sincere sympathy on the loss of your son, brother and uncle.
I graduated from NHS with Bill in 1980 – and it was always good to see him at our class reunions. I know several of my neices and nephews knew Bill from his days of hanging out at Miller’s Trailer Park – as I recall, he loved baseball!
My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.

    Dear Ernie,Shelvy and family,
There are no words to express our deepest sympathyto all of you over the loss of Bill. What a wonderful, caring jovial person he was.He always had time for a chat,a laugh and always was willing to help at the drop of a hat.The world has lost a beautiful person who was a friend to all he came in touch with.We really believe that saying-Only the good die young and Bill was way too young to leave this world. We will treasure the friendship that we had with Bill over the last several years and keep him in our hearts forever.Never be afraid to laugh, smile or cry again-believe me-it helps.Take care of each other and always know that we are here for you.
    Love,Lauren and Mark Howell
