Dear Mary and Family,
I was so sorry to hear about Bart. I have many great memories of him as a kid. He always knew how to keep all your family and mine in line when we would come to visit. Take comfort in all your loving memories and that he is not in pain or suffering anymore. I am sure Bart and my Dad are together again watching over all of us.
With all our sympathy,
Shannon , Don, Samantha and Hayley (Brodrick)Bell
I wish I could be there to celebrate Bart’s life with you. Please know that I am thinking of you all and praying that you find comfort and peace.
Love,

Our favorite memory of Bart was when he let our son, Adam, walk Chester up and down our street. That meant the world to Adam, and Chester turned Adam into a “dog lover.”
Thank you, Bart, for being a sweet and generous man with Adam, and for being a great father, father-in-law and grandpa to our dear friends.
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Mary and family, We want you all to know we are thinking of all of you and praying for Bart . Sandy and Nancy e-mailed Angela to let us know. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you and we know how much you will miss him

What happy memories I have of my short time in Norwich. They were only more memoriable & special because of the Yacano family. Your Dad was such a genuine & funny man. I laugh everytime I think of your Dad, he put up with all of us & never complained. Sleeping in the camper, times spent at your kitchen table, walking home from the Y, summer walks to Mrs. Yacano’s job to get the car?, jamming to tunes in Sandy & Nancy’s room, riding in Mr. Yacano’s van, I remember your house like it was yesturday, ALL good & full of love.
Wish I could be there. Know that I am thinking of you all.
Take care.
Love to each of you.

My condolences to the family. Bart was a genuinely nice person. He was one who I always looked forward to seeing, sharing our hometown roots, and seeing his son, Joe, with him. A fine family of which all of Norwich can be proud.
To All of the Yacanos,
Jeff (aka Howie) and I were so saddened to learn of Mr. Yacano’s passing the other day. He will be remembered, to us, as a typical husband (like our own fathers), a no-nonsense dad and an all-around character. His memory lives on….
Our sincerest condolences go out to all of you, especially, Mrs. Yacano, and your families. You all are in our thoughts and prayers and we wish we were closer to pay our respects….

Dear Mrs. Yacano, Joe, Nancy, Jennifer, and Sandy;
Jason and I are so saddened to hear of your loss. I remember vividly having coffee in that little shop with Joe, Mrs. Yacano and Mr. Yacano on one of Joe and my many trips to Binghamton when we were work partners! You are all such a beautiful family and we know this is an extraordinarily painful time. We pray you all find comfort in the fact that your husband/father was all yours and loved you deeply, and while we are all so saddened to lose him in our lives as we now know them, he has simply moved to the next chapter of his life and is looking forward to the day you will all be together again. Until then, know you are all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Much love.
