Margaret was an avid gardener, and loved working outdoors.  She was working in her neighborhood with plants the day she passed.  Margaret was especially proud to attend President Obama’s inauguration in January.

Margaret and I went back to my first days as Dog Control Officer for the City of Norwich – over 26 years ago when she was living on Front Street! – and for our together overseeing the “control” of her beloved “Champ”.
Margaret was always “Margaret” – a friend, yet one who felt free to make sure you knew her opinion.
It is a joy to have known her. I will miss her, and am sorry for your loss.

Margaret and I went to grade school together in Oxford. Through the years as we would run into each other she always found and shared that beautiful smile of hers. It has been an honor to know Margaret for these past 50 years.
She was an honest, caring and good woman. She will be missed.
